عندما أصيب أحد الرجال مرة بالسكتة القلبية و لم يستطع التحدث, كل ما أراده هو خمس دقائق أخرى لكي يخبر أبنائه كم احبهم و أن يدعو الله لمرة أخيرة.

شخص آخر مصاب بالسرطان يعرف انه سوف يعيش لشهور معدودة في حين انه يملك الملايين من الدولارات ولا يستطيع أن يشتري بها وقتا اكثر.

في الواقع الوقت هو الهدية الكبرى من الله في هذه الحياة. و انه اختيارنا أن نرى ما الذي سنفعله في هذا الوقت.

كم من المال ستدفع من اجل خمس دقائق أخرى أو يوم؟

و لكن انتظر, قبل أن تجيب اخبرني ما الذي تفعله بحياتك الآن. انظر, هذه الدقائق الخمسة التي تعد ثمينة جدا في نهاية الحياة هي متوفرة لنا طوال الوقت. كل دقيقة تعيشها هي دقيقة أخرى يمنحك الله اياها. ما الذي فعلته لكي تحسب هذه الدقيقة. ما الذي فعلته لكي تجعل كل دقيقة من حياتك دقيقة ثمينة. دقيقة استخدمتها للبناء, لمساعدة نفسك و الآخرين.

اعرف ناسا يقللون خمس دقائق من عمرهم عن علم من اجل شيء غبي اسمه السجائر. إصبع الموت هذا يأخذ في المتوسط خمس دقائق من عمرك. إنها تدمر رئتيك و قلبك. أنها تكثر من كبر الجلد لدرجة انك تظهر كأنك في الخامسة و الستين عندما تكون فقط في الخامسة و الخمسين. و أيضا تقلل قدرة الرجال على ممارسة الجنس الممتع و بناء على هذا فان السيجارة لا تقلل فقط خمس دقائق من عمرك و لكنها أيضا تجعل الباقي مؤلما و تعيسا.

البعض سيقولون  أنا اسمعهم الآن, أن وقت موتك و حياتك كلها مكتوبة و لن تتغير. نعم و أنا أقول لهم أن الله سوف يسألكم, ما الذي فعلتموه بالهدية التي أعطيتكم إياها و هي الحياة. ماذا ستخبرونه؟

في المرة التالية التي تشعل فيها سيجارة تذكر انك ستضطر لإعطاء أعذار غبية عندما تسال ما الذي فعلته بهدية الحياة و الصحة.

و هؤلاء الذين لا يدخنون يجب أن يعلموا أن إضاعة الوقت تعد مساوية لنصف مستوى سوء التدخين.

A man once had a heart attack, while not being able to speak all he wanted was 5 more minutes to tell his children how much he loved them and to pray to God one last time.

Another with cancer knows he has only a few months to live and while he has millions of dollars he can not buy more time.

In reality time is the real give of God in this life. It is up to us to see what we will do with this time we are given.

How much would you pay for 5 extra minutes of life or one day?

But wait, just before answering tell me what are you doing with your life now. See these extra 5 minutes that are so valuable at the end of life are in fact given to us all the time. Every minute you life is an extra minute that God gives you. What have you done to make that minute count. What have you done to make each minute of your life an important minute, a minute you used to build. To help yourself and others.

Think.

I know people that knowingly reduce 5 minutes of their life for a stupid thing they call cigarettes. This stick of death, takes on average 5 minutes of your life. It destroys your lungs and heart. It increases aging of the skin so you look like 65 when you are only 55 years old. It reduces the ability of men to have pleasurable sex. So in reality a cigarette not only takes 5 minutes away from your life it also makes the remaining life more painful and miserable.

Some will say and I hear them now, that your time of death and your entire life is written and can not be changed. Yes and I tell them that God will ask you, what did you do with the gift of life and health that God gave you. What will you tell him?

Next time you light up a cigarette remember that you will have to give stupid excuses when asked about what did you do with the gift of life and health.

And those that do not smoke remember that wasting time is half as bad as smoking.

كيف لك أن تعيش مع أشياء كهذه. كيف لي أن أعيش مع الثقب في قلبي مثل آبائي من قبلي. أن تعرف أن دمك مريض و في حمى.

أن تعرف أن أشياء لا يمكن أن تحل.

أن تعرف أن الحياة رمادية.

كيف لك أن تخبر موجة أن الشاطئ هو نهاية حياتها. ا وان تخبر شعاعا من الضوء انه رسم صورة جميلة في عقلي ولكن هذه الصورة كانت سبب موته.

كيف لك أن تخبر وردة أنها قد قطفت لكي تعمل زيجة سعيدة.

اخبرهم فقط أن هذه طبيعة الحياة.

إذا أحببت سوف تتعذب.

لان كل شيء تحبه سوف يشعر بالألم و يموت.

و كل شجرة سوف تجف، و تتعفن و تسقط. و كل روح سوف تترك الجسد التي هي فيه.

إذا أحببت الجسد سوف تحس بالألم دائما.

إذا أحببت الروح, لن تحس الألم أبدا.

أنا أحس بالألم.

My heart is crying out in agony. Its blood is burining my veins. Every fibre of my existance is sad.

How can you live with things like these. How can I live with the hole in my heart like my fathers before me. To know that your blood is fevered and sick.

To know that some things can not be solved.

To know that life is gray.

How do you tell a wave that the shore is the end of it's life. Or tell the ray of light that it made a wonderfull picture in my mind but that picture was the cause of its death.

How do you tell a rose that it was picked to make a happy wedding.

You just tell them this is the nature of life.

If you love you will be tortured.

For every thing you love will feel pain and die.

And every tree will dry, rot and fall. And every soul will leave the body it is in.

If you love the body you will always feel pain.

If you love the soul, you will never feel pain.

I feel pain.

I am really sick of spam. My email is full of it. Mashy.com mail has a powerful spam filter but nothing is 100% sure.

Why is spam increasing. Well because sending emails is close to being free. It is one of the cheapest ways of promoting products. I really do not mind getting advertisements on my email, what I mind is getting too many advertisements for products that only men over the age of 65 need, and about sites that only teenagers want to see.

Spam is only going to increase and in the effort to reduce the problem large sites like hotmail and yahoo mail are going to put filters that may stop valid email. For example for a time now yahoo sometimes puts email sent from some mash.com mail users in the spam folder of the people they send to. This is becoming a problem.

The big sites will then gradually control email, they will be in a position to say that in order to protect our users from spam we will do this and you have to do as we say or we will not let your site send email to hotmail and yahoo mail.

It makes operating small sites very difficult.

Some of the large sites are already planning charging money from large senders. For example if you are IBM and had 1,000,000 users on your mailing list and wanted to email them, you may have to pay hotmail and yahoo money so that they deliver the email to their users.

This is what happens when a company gets control of a large part of the market and has an excuse to do whatever it wants. Does that remind you of any large super power country you know ? ;)

أنا استخدم نظام التشغيل لينكس لوقت طويل, و هو نظام تشغيل ممتاز لأجهزة الخادمات. كنت استخدم الويندوز لموقعي القديم الذي بعته لشركة لينك دوت نت, مصراوي, و لكني الآن عرفت أنني كنت مخطئ.

اللينكس اكثر سلاسة , و يسمح لك أن تغير كل شيء تريد تغييره. و هو اكثر استقرارا و سرعة كنظام تشغيل للخادمات.

في موقعنا ماشي دوت كوم نستخدم لينكس و هذا الأمر ساعدنا كثيرا.

نحن لسنا خائفون من الفيروسات التي تؤثر على خادماتنا.

اللينكس ليس آمنا بنسبة 100% و لكن لا يوجد شيء اكثر أمانا من اللينكس.

I have been using linux for a very long time a a perfect server operating system. I used to use windows for my old site that I sold to link.net masrawy.com but now i know that I was wrong.

Linux is much more flexible, it allows you to change everything that you want. Linux is more stable and faster as a server operating system.

At mashy.com we use linux and this helped us a lot.

We are not afraid of viruses affecting our servers.

Linux is not 100% secure but nothing is in life but it is much more secure than windows.

Linux enabled us to do much more with a lot less cost.

Some say that linux is hard. Well it is not hard it is only that not many people know it in the middle east. We are so accustomed to software piracy that we do not feel that windows costs money and linux does not. If people had to pay for every license of windows that they use they would use linux.

Linux now is fully aware of Arabic and with open office you can get a full Arabic enabled virus free desktop.

Back to servers. If it was not for linux mashy.com would have been much smaller with less features for the same money that we spent on it.

Mashy.com blog uses standard blog APIs of of drupal. This allows you to use a desktop application to post your blog messages.

A good desktop application is zoundry and it is totally free and can be downloaded at http://www.zoundry.com/download.html.

When you set up zoundry or any other blogging client the settings are

Use your mashy user name and password for the user name and password fields.

I think that the Atomic and Hydrogen bomb is haram in Islam. If you see the rules of war in Islam that you may not cut a tree and that you must not kill civilians, you will realize that Islam is against the use of a weapon that destroys the ability of land even to have natural or healthy trees for thousands of years.

We need a sheikh to come up with this fatwa.

This may change the view in the west that Islam is a religion of peace not violence.

Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. The Roman Catholic church has in many times tried to spread Catholic Christianity by the sword ( and gun and canon ).

The following short list summerizes why a pope of the Roman Catholic Church should never critisize the spread of religion by war.

1-The crusades ( killing arabs and trying to convert them to Catholic Christianity).

2-The inquisition ( killing and forced conversion of Jews, Muslims and Protestant Christians in Europe ).

3-The killing and forced conversion of the people of north and south america.

I will concentrate on the last issue becuase not many people know about it. The war on south America was fully agreed upon and applauded by the Roman Church. The text below is a translation of one of the "Bulls"  of Pope Alexandar the sixth. A bull is like an official statement. I have put changes in fonts to emphasise important parts.

Let us remember that millions of south americans have been killed by the spanish roman catholic invasion that was agreed upon by the church in the following bull. With this the Pope gave the kings of spain and portugal land that was not his. Land that had millions of people in them that had many kingdoms and religions. He gave land that was not his and created a war that killed millions.

The spanish had ships, guns and cannons. The natives of the Americas had only simple swords.

So here the war was sanctioned by the Pope in historical documents.

Please note that this was the way of the Roman Catholic Church, other churches especially the Orthodox Churches do not share the view that the land of others can be given away or that you can spread religion by war.

الى محبي الحشيش و البانجو

ان ايام شبابي قد انتهت و خبرتي تقول لي شيء واحد, ان البانجو يأخذ حياتك. العديد من الناس يقولون ان البانجو لا يسبب اي تاثيرات صحية مضرة, دعني اقل لك الاتي, ان جوان واحد من البانجو مساوي في نسب القطران و القدرة على تسبيب سرطان الرئة و الحلق ل10 من اثقل انواع السجائر. هذا كثير جدا.

البانجو حقيقة يسمى ماريجوانا, و هو واحد من عائلة القنب التي فيها العديد من النكهات المختلفة تماما مثل المانجو التي تحمل العديد من الاسماء مثل الفوسو و زبدية. الحشيش مشتق من نفس النبات و لكن الاختلاف ان الحشيش مركز و مخلوط باشياء اخرى تعطيه الصلابة. يجعل الحشيش العملية اسهل لتجار المخدرات ان يضيفوا مواد اخرى كيماوية ارخص سعرا ولكنها اكثر تدميرا و تجعل المدخنين يحسون بالنشوة  حينما تدمر ادمغتهم. البانجو ايضا يمكن رشه بهذه الكيماويات.

و لكن بغض النظر عن الكيماويات, الحشيش و البانجو و كل انواع الماريجوانا يبقون في الدم لمدة اطول من شهرين و يقللون الاداء العقلي لمدة اسبوع على الاقل. فعل سبيل المثال اذا تعاطيت البانجو مرة واحدة سيقل ذكاؤك خلال الاسبوع المقبل بنسبة 5% و قدرتك على المذاكرة و على تعلم الاشياء الجديدة ستقل بنسبة 15% او اكثر.

و بناء على ذلك فإذا كنت تذاكر و تعاطيت الحشيش او البانجو مرة في الاسبوع فأنك خلال الوقت الكلي تحصل على درجات اقل ب15% او اكثر.

ايضا الق نظرة حولك, العالم العربي يتمزق و انت تستخدم مخدر كل الذي يعمله ان يدمر الشيء الوحيد الذي سيساعدنا. هذا هو الذكاء و الارادة لشبابنا. الامر الذي يضعني في مشكلة حقيقية ثانية مع البانجو.

البانجو يقلل من الارادة. اذا كان لديك حلم ان تكون ناجحا. البانجو سيجعلك غير مهتم اذا لم تعمل بما فيه الكفاية لتحقق ذلك. هذه ما يقوله العلم و ليس فقط خبرتي الشخصية. الناس الذين اقل في احتمالات متابعة احلامهم او ان ينجحوا في حياتهم. اذا كنت مهتم بان تكون فائز توقف. اخبر اصدقاءك ان يتوقفوا و اذا لم يفعلوا ذلك فانهم ليسوا اصدقاءك.

نعم البانجو نسبة ادمانه ليست كتلك الموجودة في الهيروين و الكوكايين, و لكن الناس الذين لا يقطعون صلتهم بأصدقائهم الذين لم يتوقفوا لن يتوقفوا هم الاخرين. من الممكن ان تتوقف لفترة و لكن صداقك مع هؤلاء الناس سوف تعود بك الى البانجو ثانية.

انا اعرف انه اذا لم تكف عن اجابة مكالمتهم, و ان تحاول تجنب هؤلاء الاصدقاء فلن يمكنك التوقف عن تعاطي البانجو و لن يمكنك متابعة احلامك.

البانجو من الممكن ان لا يحولك الى شخص فظيع مثلما يفعل الهيروين و لكنه سيجعلك تخسر احلامك و سيدمر جزءا من نجاحك في المستقبل.

People that use bungo are less likely to follow their dreams or succeed in life. So if you are interested in succeeding and being a winner stop. Tell your friends to stop and if they do not then they are not your friends.

Yes bungo is not addictive in the way that cocaine or heroine is, but people that do not cut ties with their friends that did not stop will not stop. You might stop for a while but by being friends with people that use bungo you will return.

I know that unless you do not return their calls, you try hard to avoid such friends you will not be able to stop bungo and you will not be able to follow your dreams.

Bungo may not turn you into a terrible person like heroine does but it will make you loose your dreams and ruin a part of your success in the future.
